Tangled Girl

Tangled Girl is a small woman bronce bust with an octopus in her hair.
Francesca is intrigued by octopuses, they are such amazing creatures, they can squeeze themselves into tiny holes, change their shape and color, they are a great metaphor for transformation, change and self challenging. Francesca has different pieces related to octopus, in different sizes and materials.

This piece has a black, green, brown and touches of white patina.The black patina is made from the green one, after a burning process, so magical and mystical.

Please remember that this piece is part of a series of 6, and the patina (colors) may vary a little from piece to piece (I always try to make them the most similar, but part of the patina’s beauty is exactly their uniqueness).
