Silhouettes

This work was made for an exhibition with the theme 'black and white'. I used watercolour studies I had made from a live model. I chose 5 poses and drew only part of the outline, just to suggest the body, and juxtaposed these lines on the canvas. The white painted lines stand out against the black background and give a semi-abstract look, but not if you look closely. This canvas is ready to hang and because of its size does not require framing.Translated automatically
